I've just swiped mine off the bedside table and picked the bits up ... again.
Any recommendations for an alarm clock that can take a 2-3' drop on to a wooden floor?
Cant help you but I love the images that your thread title conjours up. Thanks for that 🙃
Home assistant speaker from Google, Amazon, etc. It can be set to play music and wake you up and rather than skelping it, you tell it to snooze or stop. Stick it out of reach so you aren't tempted to skelp it.

Buy a normal alarm clock but leave it on the floor?
Or a normal one and glue it to the bedside table (or piece of wood the same size as the bedside table)
Alarm clocks are always best out of reach. Then you actually have to get out if bed to turn them off.

Surely that would wake you up too much to be able to get back to sleep?
