or am i only covered if i ticked the "goods" option? I don't really get paypal gift anyway. i paid a $1.40 fee what's that all about?

NO! You are not covered in anyway.

It means usually there are no fees to pay- but this differs on how the payment is funded.

No just paypal to paypal it only occurred to me after i'd sent it that i might not be covered if it's down as being a gift but i'm so used to sending as a paypal gift that it was almost a reflex action. I trust him anyway, but now i know i won't do it again. Thanks for the info
