Friend in Switzerland has been on the diet for 3 weeks and lost 16kg - she was quite large but very active and never lost weight despite marathon running etc. She's stunned at the effect.

Carry on.

35lbs in 3 weeks? Either a decimal point has gone AWOL or she lost a limb.

Jamie's awsomemeter has just gone right off the scale, exploded and is now just a crumpled smouldering heap.

DTF - does your gym have a hot tub and sauna?

Only once per week.

And its usually referred to as a bath and its only allowed after works finished.

Yet? Do we have a possible 7th person then? Looks like plans are fairly firm now - although not heard back from druidh to see if the timing suits him - so i'll start talking more about it / drumming up interest soon ๐Ÿ™‚

If its as windy as it is today, it could well take us 31 hours to complete! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ *buys a sail for the bike just in case*

No Charity Cardio Marathon for me tonight...i was meant to be at the gym but i've got to work late tonight so doubt i'll make it ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Edit - mol according to druidh's gps, its 5.3km / 89.5m ascent per lap. That makes 164.3km, 2,775m for 31 laps. (102 miles / 9,104 ft)

All I will say is I saw my chance and I went for it. Deal with it.

Oh and hold the awesome people as........

As for AS, after double checking I will be in Sheff that weekend monkeying around Kinder Scout.

To be honest, it does not really appeal. While I like to push myself to do stuff I also want to enjoy it. 31 laps round Arthur's Seat? Will it not get a bit...well boring?

Anyway. I will leave it to you race whippets this time, but thanks for even considering me. I will probably see if Phil and Darcy want to eat flapjacks over skype.

Edit: You know what I would like to do? A proper military assault course....a bit of everything. Kinda like this maybe.....but I doubt I would beast it like this ninja:

It's going to be hideously boring. I'm going to get a smart phone strapped to my bike so I can post on here.

How about...

The missus made this chicken broth with leftovers from w/e roast. Added some more herbage from le jardin and then accompanied it with some flatbread (recipe/method now sorted).

T'was bang on the money - having remains for lunch right now.

It's probably getting lost among all the bullshit I have posted in this thread, but what are peoples numbers? This thread has been going for long enough to see some figures posted for last 3 weeks or so I think.

Didn't drink enough and had voth my calves cramping for the final 20 mins of spinning.

Jamie - been stuck at 85-84 for the last two or three weeks - after hitting 84 before easter (within what, 3 weeks of starting) and then going back to to 87 over the holiday.
