Anyone been watching it on BBC4?
Looks like it was first shown about 10 years ago, so not exactly new news, but blimey that Benedict Allen is a tough old dude, though should perhaps invest in GPS 🙂

Should learn how to secure a tent properly too.
Those dogs had the patience of saints. I'd have buggered off and left him to it at the first opportunity.

He released a book on the same journey years ago, It was one of only a handful of books I have read. I highly recommend hunting it down, afraid I handed it on to somebody so have no idea what it was called.
