Just been to see this at our local film theatre.

A really great, poignant, funny film about John Davidson, a man with Tourette’s syndrome who was featured in the documentary “John’s not mad”.

I enjoyed it so much, I was sad that it ended. Highly recommended.

I had a friend who had Tourette’s but not the involuntary swearing, the last I heard he was going to be given botox for his ticks but we lost contact (I used to see him at circuit training) so I don't know if it worked.

I haven't seen the film but my friend (who coincidentally has schizophrenia) has and she really enjoyed it. I did wonder how accurate it depicts Tourette’s because although Beautiful Mind is a fantastic film which I believe is based on a true story it is questionable whether it totally depicts schizophrenia accurately, but apparently I Swear is accurate.

Excellent, saw the trailer which looked fantastic and then completely forgot about it. Need to go see it while it's still on

I knew that there’d been a previous thread, I just couldn’t find it, thanks.
