I make that Pimms o'clock!

What a wonderfully lethal thing Pimms is! It just tastes too good....!

My tip, chop your fruit and mint, add to the jug. Leave it to soak in the Pimms for half an hour or so before pouring over the Schweppes Lemonade. (No, you can't use any other lemonade, so don't even think about it)

Add ice, then you have a spiffing Pimms with rocket powered fruit!

Re-arrange these words to form a well known phrase or saying

A Debbish student friend was stopped by the police after a Pimms fueled garden party. In court, her defence pleading for a lighter fine was 'you know how easily good Pimms just slips over'. The sherrif was having none of it and fined her. Doubt he'd ever tasted it.

Pimms is nice. But it is just that, nice. Its hardly a class-leader.

Pimms is crap. Don't even get a mild buzz, just a headache after half a bottle. Kiddy booze.

I tasted schnapps for the first time last week. Bought a bottle of it as soon as I returned to Blighty. Great stuff.

Sangria is a proper summer drink, much better than Pimms.

1 part gin, 1 part fruit, 1 part tonnic water 🙂

either that or co-op's own brand bottled ales are very easy to slip down.

I find Pimms a bit sickly sweet. However:

One proper measure of gin, one of those little Schweppes Tonic cans (I just love those sweet little cans) and a slice of lemon (squeezed over the ice before the gin) or lime if I'm feeling gauche. Perfect summer drink.

1. It's "Pimm's".

2. I get you're drinking that gin based no.1 cup nonsense. They only do one other these days - no.6 cup, which is vodka based. Much more like it.

Flashy, I think your standards may be slipping....

😉

G&T is with lime - never, ever, ever lemon.

35 or 50 ml (never 25) of Bombay or possibly Tanqueray over a glass full of ice. A big fat FRESH lime wedge, not a slice, traced around the rim of the glass. Squeeze the juice out of it in to the glass, discard, add another big fat fresh chunk of lime to the glass and fill with Schweppes tonic. Perfick

Schweppes Lemonade. (No, you can't use any other lemonade, so don't even think about it)

Turbo Pimms - Substitute the lemonade with Smirnoff Ice. Oh the fun we used to have playing croquet on the college lawns...

G&T is revolting. The G tastes like mashed flowers - never could stand putting the stuff near my mouth, its like drinking the aroma of a passing elderly lady.

Bombay is overated gin - I prefer Tanquery or Plymouth.

CFH - would it be wrong to replace the Lemonade with champagne, I hear its rather potent?

Pimms rocks, as do G&T's. But R Whites must be allowed.
