Since when does Linda's husband Robert actually a word in? I thought he was a bit of a joke character, referenced but never actually heard of 😂
Yes, he's always been a speaking character, but this week he's been speaking somebody else's voice.
It's almost like he's been replaced...
We wondered that. Maybe he's got a cold and just sounds funny.
I think he died a while ago 🙁 - the actor.
Been a sad year for Archers actors with Roy Tucker as well...
I think he died a while ago
December 2022! He was also a GP according to his obituary.
Yeah, re-cast rather than writing him out of the Archers altogether. Robert always used to have a decent speaking part though so it's strange to hear a different voice playing the role.
Archers Bingo. Will Roy be killed off or recast?
Last character to meet an untimely death? Helen's game keeper partner? Suicide.
Working up until 103 is a good innings.
Amazing. What a life!
I've listened 100% during the car crash story and really enjoyed it (previously just dabbled now and again).
Now that's over it seems the writing has gone downhill with lots of silly filler stories/twists (eg Fallon not being offered the unit when was interested in, the kitten's name etc). Seems to me TA is great when there's a meaty storyline (eg the Prof's abuse) but goes to the other end of the quality spectrum otherwise, am I right?
My bet is that Justin will ask Fallon to start a cafe at the rewilding... Much more on brand
I’m feeling like it’s lost it’s way a bit over the past few months. I listen to the omnibus on a Sunday morning and I often find it’s finished without me really noticing anything that’s gone on!
We need Matt to come back!
