this is a bit of fun.

Have you been where the Queen's been?

I scored 39 out of 116 - but to be fair, a lot of them were visited as a kid with my mum and dad, rather than as a paying adult. My own kids wouldn't come close to that number!

Just 15 here - but all visited (and paid for) as an "adult". 😀
The world's a big ol' place eh? Lots to see.

A pitiful 26.

Mrs North would do well - she went to 9 countries in a six month period a few years ago. All with work....

I didn't include Belgium as I can't be sure if I have ever been there, though I think I might have once (school coach trip to Germany)- would I have noticed? 🙂

Point of order: I'm not sure sitting in a bus as it drives through somewhere to get somewhere else is quite the same as "visiting".

Likewise a business trip of airport->industrial estate->airport is hardly exploring the local culture. 😀

Otherwise you might as well count countries where you just stopped to change planes. 😆

24 if you include Greece and Taiwan.

I must have had 20 trips to Germany, Sweden and Poland though so that should earn me a Chufty Badge at the very least.

Nearly went to Belgium once, but I woke up just as my train was about to leave my station in France and got off.

Looks like 40 on the Queen's list, plus a few others that aren't... However I think the total for anything other than work is about 3 - I'm never in a desperate rush to travel as part of my holidays 😉

10.

I wonder how big the Queen (and her entourage's) carbon footprint is?

Ach, I'm just bitter and jealous because I am not that well travelled, pffft!
