I finished building my new bike during the week, a lovely new BFe. However, burnt my hand cooking last night & now, I'm off the bike for a while. So p1ssed off.

May I suggest buying a spatula? Flipping burgers with your bare hands is unwise...
What the hell did you do?

I was roasting duck breasts in an open proof frying pan. I took the duck out to rest & forgot the pan was hot & picked it up. So stupid. To top it all off, I overbooked the duck!

Don't worry, lots of people on here can't ride their bikes. That's why we talk about riding them so much.

Ouch!

Nifty bit of bandaging though. Did you do that yourself or have to see a medic?

I didn't do the bandage myself, went to A&E because my skin blistered. In & out in an hour which was very impressive for a Sat night.

An hour on Saturday night is very good.

Mind you with blistering skin they can't really have you hanging around.

How long until the bandage comes off and you can ride again?

The bandage comes off on Wednesday. Not sure when I can ride again, hopefully soon as I commute to work
