Scart out to VCR?
If you google you can find the manual for the Virgin box (lol at "Virgin Box")
" Virgin box" <s****>
Scart out to VCR? Then how do i play back on telly?
VCR - do you use it? Ours sits off and unloved under the TV.
With 1 SCART on the TV, your options are limited. Perhaps it's time for a new TV?
VCR might play passively through the V box SCART connection to the TV if the V box is turned off. Or you could get an external SCART switching box/ 2->1 adapter from TESCO or Maplin.
Have you thought of getting V+? Then you can record 2 channels at the same time as watching a third.
Then how do i play back on telly
Use the RF
The TV will need to have a spare programme number tuned to the VCRs UHF output channel - try 36 or 60
whats a VCR?
RF will do it but AV will have a better picture.
AV lead output from Vbox to input of VCR.
VBOX av output 2 into tv.
They should auto switch days once you turn on the video.
the 2 scart socket on the back of the virgin box are labelled TV and VCR (yes, seriously). plug the TV into the TV the VCR into the VCR, you can forget about the RF, VCR playback will override the v-box output. THat's how min is set up (well, DVD recorder rather than VCR but same principle)

Just to confirm. Are you saying:
-TV scart to virgin scart
-virgin scart to vcr scart
-The VCR will be able to record what the v box is currently showing on tv.
-Playing anything on the vcr will override the vbox signal and be displayed on the tv.
Yup, should work fine like that. The scarts on the v-box will be clearly labelled if it's like either of the two I've had so far. You may need to set your VCR to record from SCART - how you do that will depend on your VCR, it maybe channel 0 or input 0 or something
