how to do this? rain water drain content

Me and my neighbour is planning to recycle rainwater to wash our cars and I tasked myself to find out how to tapped from the square PVC pipe drain (which ours have)... how to do this?

You need something like this:

cut the down pipe and plumb it in.
Dead easy - just make sure you get the heights of the various components/cuts right.....

Buy that part from B&Q or builders merchant; cut pipe; fit part.
