Do I have to burn to disc first?

If this is in Windows I would do this.
Select the playlist in Itunes. Click on one of the tracks in the list and press ctrl-a to select them all. Right-click on the selection and select Copy.
Navigate to the memory stick in Windows explorer right-click and select paste.
All my MP3s are DRM free so I can't guarantee this will work DRM'd files.
