I've a MyTiMug for general boiling duties, but looking at the Pot etc for bigger cooked meals when camping.
I've had rice burn to the bottom of my mug, but that was because I didn't stir properly.

Could i, for example, fry an egg on the myTiPot lid?? Or would it just turn into a burn on stick mess??

Ti is rubbish at giving a nice, even transfer of heat. You tend to end up burning one bit while the rest is still cold. Lots and lots of stirring required. With a bit of oil, you should be able to fry an egg. But please try it without and post up your results.

If you don't want the end result to be a burnt mess (pan and food) I'd suggest hard anodised aluminium with a non stick coating. Coated Ti is available but the price makes standard Ti pots look cheap.

Ti + eggs = poaching for best results.
