So I want to start an Edinburgh based trailbuilders/mtb association and run it with a decent website. HoweverI really only access the web on my phone at work and for a couple of hours on a pc at night and Im not very good at it! Can a website be made easy to manage? How much work will it take to keep it in shape? Hpefully it can be minimal upkeep! What do you do about moderators as well! Is that just someone who volunteers or what? Please excuse my complete ignorance. All advice much appreciated.

Probably easiest with a Facebook group. You can set a couple of people as owners who can upload/edit/remove stuff and anyone can post messages/replies/pics. If you do want a 'proper' website then probably something like wordpress but it'll be a lot more work to set-up and maintain. I'd be tempted to start with a FB group and see where that has shortcomings rather than do everything at once.
