I always assume I'm getting banned when I see an email from stw so at least it wasn't that 🙂
As of yesterday from my experience. No sure if I've ever been @'d before though.
You can turn off the email in your profile settings but you still get the notification appear at the head of the page alongside the PM notifications.

Someone mentioned it recently so thought I'd give it a go. You can disable the emails in your STW account settings I think.

I had a notification for one of these the other day. It just confused me.
Edit: mostly because, unlike the one I triggered with this post, it didn't tell me where or how to respond.

It’s been since the forum ‘upgrade’. Does rely on you knowing the username of the person though, as the username search seems to have gone.

I've been trying for months with no success other than a burgeoning relationship with a boat captain who has some particulary eager employees.
I’ve definitely not ever @maccruiskeen before.
Is this some sort of Restraining Order work around?
EDIT - ha - if you quote text with an @ you send an email yourself 🙂
