I've looked at settings but can't see anything. Nor can I see how to delete them in a single go. Any advice folks?

There’s a box to tick that highlights all messages, then below your messages there’s a drop down box that says ‘bulk actions’ which give you the option to mark as read or delete, once you have picked, click ‘apply’

I have 880. Deleting 25 at a time is a first world pain.
Is there any way of getting an e-mail notification of replies to threads that I have commented on?

Think of it as a Status Report, the more you have .. then higher your status.
