Haven't had one in a while. As for the nature theme - ah **** it, you don't have to stick to it. I only fancied it because mrs deadly took this one of Molly.

Can you see her?

Cavalier FTW!

I need to get another dog. Been two years since my hound went to chase the eternal rabbit. Every time I see these threads I inch ever closer to getting another!

We're getting another one! 😉 Ruby there is like a child to us now and we discussed having pups but I didn't really fancy the effort that would entail so we've let the same breeder we got her from know that we'll be interested in another leading up to the end of the year. I can't wait.

I sometimes look at the constantly whining teenager I seem to have invited into my house and think 'if I got rid of him and got another dog we could make his bedroom into a dog room.

Even though she's practically blind, she makes like she can see stuff in the distance.

if you insist. 🙁

Bracken at the back, Widget at the front. I must get some more pics in my online album.
[img] [/img]

The late, great, Charlie. Couldnt finish training him as he was diagnosed with Epilepsy 🙁
[img] [/img]
And My First gundog, Nickel (on the right). Copper, his Missus next to him. She was rubbish as a gundog, but very cuddly. If I indulge myself and get a little anthropomorphic for a moment, if she were a human, she'd have opened Village Fetes for a living while Nickel would have shot the likes of TJ for sport 😉

One of Molly's mates in the park, a great big hulk of a thing called Oscar is suffering from fits at the moment. We can nearly always tell if it's been a good day or a bad day when we see him - staffie/alsatian cross - really tough on him. He's lovely though 🙁

great name, "banff"

A name should always pass the "screaming it in public in the middle of the night from the back door while wearing your wife's dressing gown test" test.

My neighbour has just named his dog Hovarvart (as opposed to a bitch) "Jazz". That is a girls name. Doesnt help that his dog is going to turn into cerberus when it grows up. How on earth will he keep a straight face when he call's it's name?

Does this count?

[img] [/img]

A deer ran across the bridleway and Stanley shot after it through the gap in the hedge. Then he had to work out how to get back through a tangle of brambles and nettles. Not the brightest spark..

He's still a puppy and very much a terrier so whilst relatively well trained he does have the odd impulsive habit (hence he's on the lead for a majority of the time when in public / around walkers etc)

I'll have to get some pics uploaded of our morning strolls around the local reservoir.
