Was there a scene where Urquharts car got involved with a van load of builders and his body guard just shot them???

Or am I thinking of something else?

Yes - I think it was in The Final Cut.

Aha - I do recall now - are you thinking of the car bombs at the end that take out the chairman of the party and the PR woman who was about to reveal all? Just after he tells the king to abdicate?
