Does anyone else find it to be ****?
It's worked intermittently on old mobiles, but currently on my new N86 the onboard browser takes me on a (seemingly) endless path of "Do you want to leave this secure page"..."You are entering a securepage, continue?" messages, and on Opera I can't get past the password screen (no "wrong password" message)
Any ideas?
Mine did that for ages and got really fed up. but if you log on and tick 'remember me on this computer', when you do finally get to your inbox, bookmark it and it will just take you straight there forever more.
Oh, and if you're using old, dodgy bookmarks just do goto www.hotmail.com (EDIT: not from this link, on your phone of course) That was my problem, too. I was trying to use live.msn.hotmail.yahdahyahdah... and getting what you get.
I bookmarked my inbox (rather than the hotmail homepage), and added that bookmark to my homepage (Nokia 5800). So it's three taps for me - the shortcut, confirm secure connection, confirm leaving a secure connection and then i'm there.
Works fine on my N79. I have my Inbox as a Bookmark and once connected to the WLAN I go straight there, no secure page etc stuff. Bookmark it from when you sucessfully logged on, should be in Bookmarks/Recently visited pages.
works fine on iphone... enter username and password and you're in.
Thanks...I;ve yet to successfully log on. Wonder if I need to reset the phone, or try Opera 4 rather than 5 beta (I'm on a limited download)
