iv got a vision 2 with a loose connection in the light unit-anyone ever taken one aopart or had similar problems

Send it back to Hope - they're really rather good with things like that

Yes! I sent them an email, they sent me a form. I sent the light unit back with the form and they fixed it (even though they couldn't replicate the problem). Was well out of warranty, but they did it for nuttin.

Me too, returned faulty unit that was 2 years old, Hope replaced leads and LED unit and returned to me within 5 days of me sending to them.
Don't both dissasembling, give them a call.
