been watching it this last week got 1 more to watch and then the final episode is tomorrow night
very good, got better as its gone along and kept me guessing
who else is gonna be watching tomorrow night?
I'm really enjoying the series. There is a series 2 that is already out in america.
yep, i'm there! 8)
chatting with a mate about it, i nearly said 'how long till he ****s her? ', and the following week...
Not good at all because they try too hard to make it interesting ... a bit like lost. ๐

Don't think so - it airs in September.
Another series ... oh dear ... a bit like Lost and those vampire shite ... ๐
Johnners oh right you caught me out ๐
Yeah I've been enjoying it, will be watching the last one tomorrow. Claire Danes character is quite annoying but to be fair to Claire Danes, she is very good in it.
Really good

LOL! I hope they terminate that character as she is getting predictable in the story line ...
chewkw if it riles you so much why watch it?
kimbers - Memberchewkw if it riles you so much why watch it?
Because other channels are worst so I have to stick to Homeland for a while before switching to other channel ... like Family Guy or American Dad ...
If your 'off' button broken?
Use the red button (makes the screen go black)
I thought it was really good finale is great, can't wait for Season 2
Cougar - MemberIf your 'off' button broken?
Are you kidding? Who switch off TV nowadays? I don't ... ๐
I'm with chewkw but didn't bother past episode 1.
I wasn't referring to your TV. (-:

Cougar - MemberI wasn't referring to your TV. (-:
Are you kidding? I have no fireplace in my flat ... so the TV is my fireplace, my background noise, my window, my radio ... etc ... ๐ No, I am addicted to monitor screens ... two of them ... tv and pc ... arrghhh ... modern technology.
Loving the series and looking forward to tonights episode
Very good indeed, last weeks episode was really good, Its nearly as good as Dexter.
Really enjoying it.
And his wife is well fit!
Excellent series.
The series is great and tonight's finale is a brilliant ending.
It's good, but its a shame he didn't blow up at the end.
Thanks turtleheading....
Thanks for the spoiler alert there.
Some quite good unintentional comedy going on now.... If Basil Fawlty decided to blow up the Vice President...
Shite ... he did not push the trigger ... bloody predictable. ๐
So now she is a heroine saving the world without people knowing ... errmm ... hellooo ... President is a politician and there are plenty where they come from ... ๐
here we go again.....
if you haven't watched it yet, more fool you for clicking on a thread entitled Homeland (no spoilers in the title, that would be wrong) asnd then mingeing about people discussing the content of this week's episode of Homeland.
Personally, i thought series was good but a chuffing hate these 'let's drag it out to another series' endings.
What's wrong with a decent series with a beginning, a middle AND A PROPER ****ING NO LOOSE ENDS NO STRINGS ENDING!!!

Because most of them are trying it on ... like LOST ...
turtleheading prize for biggest muppet!
enjoyed it, not sure where it will go nextbut look forward to finding out
chewkw if you repeat something often enough it will become true ๐
Never watched Lost because it was crap.
Never watched Homeland because it was crap too.
Don Simon; didn't bother reading your contribution but it was crap.
I watched it and enjoyed it for the most part but as others have said it wasnt an ending, it was a prequel for the next series and I feel like im having the piss taken. I'll not watch any more.
Why cant they make a series, then make something different instead of wringing the neck of every idea they have.
Bottler.
kimbers - Memberchewkw if you repeat something often enough it will become true
For once I hope it does not become true because it is really taking my air time ... arrghhh ...
FFS if you don't like it then go for a dump instead, or some other bathroom function.
It was a bottled ending, total washout. He should have either hit the trigger or died in a hail of bullets at the end.
funny, people used to complain that american stuff was too neatly tied up.
fwiw i don't think the Lost comparisons are fair, not least because the actors and writers involved actually seem to know their craft. YMMV.
Homeland is ok, but compared to the dramas coming out of the UK, it's outstanding.
Why isn't UK stuff any good these days?
Go on tell me there is something with realistic(ish) dialogue, interesting plots (without holes all over the place), decent acting... etc (don't give me the yawn-fest that is Silent Witness please).
Because the best British writers go to hollywood.
I can't think of a single british TV programme that I'd make time to watch ATM.
Reality TV killed good TV.
I'm liking the Bridge at the moment.
uk drama?
misfits is good (although now kelly on comunity service for real its days may be numbered)
the shadow line was very well done but its a rare thing,
especially when tedious soaps like downtown or silly things like spooks get all the plaudits
Ah, yes - I'll give you Misfits. Didn't like the Shadow Line and Spooks is crap.
DezB - Luther is the best UK show of this ilk me thinks
I enjoyed Homeland. A few slow episodes in the middle, bit of a bottled ending but it provided some good Sunday night entertainment
Shadow Line was awful, I was really looking forward to it with all the hype (on here) but couldn't believe how poor the script and especially the acting was.
I enjoyed Luther, but anything decent is so few and far between. I await the next good US drama rather than hope for anything to come out of the UK. It's easier and cheaper for them to get the ratings through things like strictlyXcraptor/bigbrother/celebrityjungle etc etc.
What's wrong with a decent series with a beginning, a middle AND A PROPER ****ING NO LOOSE ENDS NO STRINGS ENDING!!!
One of the main reasons I liked The Wire so much.
They actually manage to use the same characters across different series, but still manage to finish off each one properly.
Luther's pretty good, but the plots are full of holes that Luther's "genius" has to fill. Good action though - the mad killer going on the rampage in the office for one.
Could do with a new series soon.
No good British drama? Come on guys what about Vera? What a talent fest that is.
Yes I am taking the pee.
