Righty-o

Following on from this thread http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/home-network-help-1 My NAS, a ZyXEL NSA221 has stopped downloading torrents from the internet. Nothing has changed, it has worked since I set it all up.

I can access the NAS using it's IP, so what do I need to check now?

Cheers

It must be giving you some kind of error... What happens when you start a new torrent?

Done that. Twice

They just sit with nothing happening. They don't give an error message off, they just never seem to start downloading.

If you're with Virgin Media, they've clamped down on P2P traffic, almost to the point of 1kb/s speeds.

To test your torrent client on a LEGAL one - try this -> http://linuxtracker.org/index.php?page=torrent-details&id=63c5d03c8111cf499d18c18d33e61c9b81d92270

100% legal and legit..

Can you still download torrents yourself from a PC?
(just wondering if your ISP has started blocking torrent traffic)

Edit: wot ziphon said.

Virgin have now blocked Pirate Bay completely.

Yay for state-backed net censorship!

I know they've blocked TBP, but P2P traffic in general has been severely stamped on.
