Popping over to a friends later who just got an ice cream maker.
What ingredients should I bring? Any past successes you'd like to share?
Was thinking of pistachio. I've not enough time to make honeycomb but it's on the list for my next visit.
Rhubarb crumble is awesome, make (or buy it if you're a heathen) the crumble and leave it to go cold, then just tip it in when you're making the ice cream..

Christmas pudding.
Do a good rich vanilla and ripple in some pureed kirsch soaked Morello cherries.
Bake strawberries with balsamic cream and tons of fresh black pepper then add to double cream and freeze.....
Amaretto is really good.
Brother in law makes some with meingue and lemon curd.
Add some home made praline paste with chopped toasted hazels. Possibly the nicest thing I have ever made.
