Moon on a stick I know ...
I'm coming back to the UK to see my ailing Dad - i'd really like to take him and my mum away somewhere picturesque that he can sit in the peace and quiet and we can spend some time together , well lets be blunt, before he dies 🙁 As an aside i'd like to be near some biking so that i can get my head around this whole thing by doing what i love and sorting my problems out while riding my arrrrse off !
Anyone got any good suggestions before i start googling. I guess criteria would be has a couple of rooms, quiet, picturesque. If there was a pub nearby and nic eriding then that would be tremendous !
Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

Ah yes now location may help ! Scotland, west coast and we'll deal with the midges. They live in St Andrews and could tolerate a bit of a drive say 3-4 hours max.

Sorry to hear that and sounds a great idea, not Scotland but Northumberland has some fantastic scenery go to right area and you'll see no one all day.

Our coasts are so great the Canadian tourist board use them to advertise Canada.
