Just recently, and I don't recall doing anything to cause this, when I click on iTunes it no longer simply opens.
Instead of opening, Windows installer kicks in and configures iTunes, it then opens ok.
iTunes always used to simply open, any idea what is causing this recent behaviour? How do I get back to iTunes simply opening without the installer business?
Have reinstalled with no success, and nothing seems to be blocked at start up.
Any help greatfully received.

Its apples forum. Is it "please wait while Windows configures iTunes" ?
Thanks for that Foxyrider, didn't work unfortunately. Search continues.....
I just use the errors or dialogue and search google - You'll find it eventually 😉
Never had an error reported, always started up in th end.......
Ah well pc was slow and cluttered anyway so did a format and reinstall of everything.
Works now!
