Just after a bit of help. My garage currently has a single, double tubed batten ... which doesn't throw out much light. Was thinking to upgrade to using a two led batten's instead. However I have no idea what I should be looking for. Screwfix has lots of options!

Any help narrowing down to a couple of choices would be REALLY helpful!

Am also looking into this.

T8 leds seem to be a standard answer. See if there's something suitable by Cree, Philips or Osram.

As above, you might want to just replace the tubes with LED tubes.

I had a single garage with very old fittings with no enclosure, so I got new lights, and bought these from Screwfix:

41W 4180lm 4ft Item Number 2779G
37W 4000lm 4ft Item Number 1183G

I have one mounted horizontally near the back end where my bench is, and one longitudinally in the centre of the garage, and the lighting is excellent for the areas I work in. I'd probably need another one to fully light the garage, but the door end is just bike storage and the light is plenty good enough for anything I'm doing there.
