We will be in touch
What suggestions you got?
Dave
Xanthe
Eleanor
Juliet
Suzannah
Jenna
Should be fine. Ideal, in fact.
Leonie, Loveday, Susan
Persephone
my missus says...
Eve or Grace
Chantelle, Kylie, Peaches, Kasandra, Doris!
Lily
+1 for Grace
Fifi Trixabelle? Moon unit? or maybe not.
Rose
Lily
Something short and beautiful, like, presumably she is... 😀
I love the name Grace...but kind of gone off it when it's said with a Barrow-in-Furness accent!!
what's your surname?
Darcy
...obviously 🙄
More serious suggestions... Megan, Petra or Lucy.
Its got to be Marcie Darcy then!
'Leonie' is nice...and not many around these days how about 'Charlotte'....
'scarlett lily' ... i too like 'xanthe'..'Emily' 'Rosie' 'Bethany'
Don't touch me are my Dad will knock you on your arse.
Or Lucy, Amy for short.
I think Emma is quite pretty. Doesn't suit my personality particularly well I dont think but I've always liked my name. Lilly or sky are nice. Or Isabella?
Eve or Grace
one of ours is called Evie Grace 🙂
Any flower names tend to be nice.
If we had another we'd go regional - Tegan, Seren, Bronwen, Cait, Bethan
Molly? Rosie?
lily's been stuck in my head for ages
See, I quite like Niamh as does the wife but it was the name we had picked in case the first was a girl so the wife doesnt want to use that name.
Niamh is a bit....well, Irish, in terms of association, and always strikes me as one of those names that are a bit over used by the (english) Guardian reading brigade. It's a lovely name, but in my opinion, only if you're from some little village out in the wilds.
Just my opinion that though, and not worth a great deal.
Niamh is nice. But in general, beware of Gaelic names whose spellings people are unaccustomed to...speaking from experience.
That is still no excuse to spell them phonetically.
Niamh is a bit....well, Irish, in terms of association
Wonderful insight there... 🙄
Well, we have a Connor and a Fraser already so...
Wonderful insight there...
I'll have you know I watched all of Ballykissangel, Mr. sarcastic person...
Fiona
My daughters name.
Some are mote popular than you think. If we had a daughter we were going to call her evie until we realised every one is calling girls evil these days
Quite like Siobhan, but everyone else seems to hate it.
Morag if you want to go old school.
Eve and Grace are lovely but massively popular at the mo - not necessarily a problem.
Thought Jenna was a great name for a girl, but currently have a Jenna working for me who is fast making me go off it. Shame how real people spoil nice names - a problem for teachers apparently.
My daughter is called Freya, which we felt was a litle different, but not outlandish
Frogmella -cos ashtre's a boys name 🙂
Alexine
Eloise
Amelia
Yup, we've got an Evie Grace here as well. Still quite young so not sure of how evil quite yet 😉
PJ. As in PJ Harvey. Most amazing female artist EVER. What was that? 'Polly'? Oh shut up...
If one of my boys had been a girl then they would have been Amy Ffion. I also like Daisy but it didn't quite sound right with my sir name (Woods).
Keith.
Freya is very nice, but too much like Fraser which you already have.
What about Olivia or Jordana?
My middle one is called Flora.
Gets lots of positive comments.
Little one is Edith. Ditto.
Don't know why but I've always loved Jenny as a girls name.
Kim is nice and short, means 'golden' in Chinese, according to a half-Chinese (ex) girlfriend of mine, who is very beautiful as well.
Charlotte, shortened to Lottie maybe, then she will have a choice when she's older.

Lanicera caprifolium?
Lilac vulgaris?
whatever floats your boat DD
my suggestions: Ameena, Imogen, Erin - my faves from the ones already are Flora and Freya
Freya was my favourite until the missus insisted on Poppy for our daughter.
Take a look at your great grandmothers - they had some great names back then. It helps connect your kid to their heritage.
Darcy was quite popular the last time we did this. Can't help thinking someone must be turning people off it 😐
Ours is Grace Harriet; on "the list" if we have another are Edie/Evie/Eve, Hazel, Violet, Audrey(!) for girls...
Like epicyclo said - check great grandmothers and such; Grace Harriet is a family name in my Dads family; we dropped the "Darling" that was also in there though!
We know of several other Grace's too - it is fairly popular at the moment.
And being in Australia - land of Anglicised phonetics! - we decided to avoid the Irish names from my wife's family a la the Siobhan and Niamh comments above.

Aoife? I like it as a girls name. Pronounced Efa (best I can think
of)
Victoria or Elizabeth.
Alternatively if you want something a bit more "modern" then try ...
Psilocybin
Galerina
Mycena
Nada
Cuba, China ... England may do too.
Tangerine, Apple ... watermelon?
Virginia ... errrmmm ...
Princess Wawa ...

POSTED 7 HOURS AGO # REPORT-POST
our historic 'family' female name is Fanny...
Suppose Dawn is out of the question 🙂
A nice range of predictably middle class name types there. :o)
It is well worth checking the names lists though as our daughter has 4 Izzy's and 4 Evies in her class.
We went with Meg in the end though registered Megan on the birth certificate, far better to use the full name when you are shouting at them 😉
Any flower names tend to be nice.
Hyacinth it is then.
We named our daughter Rose when she popped out 49 hours ago. Named after her Great Grandma Rosalie.
congrats Davy, was going to say Rose anyway 🙂
failing that, how about Eris?
Ours is Samantha Petra, my grandmother was Petranella, but the SO wasn't having that.
Second the advice of checking the most popular lists, we deliberately chose a name that wasn't on any of the lists.
We've got a
Bethan Alice
Esther Rose and last but not least
Iona Beatrice
We wanted a "proper" English name that wasn't going to be overly common. Also wanted to make sure any shortening of the name was ok...
Rosemary is now 7 months and no regrets!
Can be shortened to Rose or Rosie as the whim takes her later in life...
OP: we went for "Annabelle" - offers her a nice bit of variety for nicknames in the future (Anna, Ann, Bella, Belle, Belly) and then we gave her the same middle name as my wife, which only seemed fair since she had my last name 😀
Kim is nice and short, means 'golden' in Chinese
Hmm What is Chinese for "shower"?
Can't beat olivia
Yes you can, but I'll call social services if you do. (bless! very cute BTW)
We callled ours Amelie, as in the film, you can have that one makes a change from Amelia
Dusty
Amy Jane & Mia Casey for my two girls
I love older names - Maisie and Grace are my favourites at the moment.
We called our little boy (now 20 months old) Stanley - his great great great uncle Stanley is currently Europe's oldest man!
as our daughter has 4 Izzy's and 4 Evies in her class.
Our twins are Evie and Izzi.
🙁
Chloe and Freya my two. (Louise and Olivia middle names)
We called our little boy (now 20 months old) Stanley - his great great great uncle Stanley is currently Europe's oldest man!
Great back story. 🙂
How about.. Buttercup? 😉
PS seem to be a boatload of Annabellas around currently.
Dusty
if you're going with a name suggested on STW it might as well have a bit of history 😛
Chlamydia
My sisters are called Alyssa and Inga
I like Jessica myself
mine is called Jemimah - she loves having an unusual name
Mine (half-Spanish) are Aitana and Miranda, you're welcome to them. The names, of course, I'm quite fond of the girls.
Obi_Twa_Point_Wan ?
......................................
sorry just read you got two boys already. I suppose that would make it....
