I need to unlock my Nokia 6300 on 02, it is a BB5 type which means it's harder than makes sense to get unlocked.
I've contacted O2 who will do it, but it will take 7 days to send me the code which is ridiculous.
Does anyone know either
- a website which will provide unlock codes for Nokia BB5-type phones for free or less than a tenner within 24 hours?
- a website where I can download software that will produce an unlock code when I put in the IMEI number or that will unlock my phone if I connect it using a standard USB cable

I looked at doing mine too. Its complicated and can't just be done with a code - there are things on youtube about it, but it involves dismantling it and buying kit to unlock it.
If it's on O2, is it actually locked?
If you want it done quickly without being fleeced, and O2 are willing / able to do it, I'd suggest going into an O2 store.

I'm going to try an unlocking shop near me tonight, they charge a tenner
Probably safer than online - I've seen a lot of horror stories.
