Well, it was only a splash of tea, and I flipped the laptop over and held down the power button until it turned off.

But after two days its still suffering a few issues with the keyboard 🙁

My i key types an i followed by a o, my o key sometimes does a double o, and my square brackets and apostrophe dont work at all!

Some of the other keys didnt work or were stuck on but I managed to fix them by prising off the keys and massaging the rubber sensor/button underneath, but the remaining few are stubborn.

Any ideas?

remove the keyboard and stick it in a dishwasher, once its finished leave it to dry out and it should be fine.
i clean the computer keyboards in work that way and not had any problems with them ( i do give them about 5 days to dry out completely )

if the tea had sugar in it may prove more difficult to get it working again as it cristalises and it is conductive.

Get Coke in a keyboard and you are stuffed.

Not sure I'd go with the dishwasher option - they get bloody hot and use some unpleasant salts that arent good for electronic parts!

Well, no dishwasher so that option is out.

Dont take sugar so thats good also 🙂

I cant get to the sensors easily as there is a fragile looking hinge mechanism and rubber bulb in the way of each one, is it easy enough to whip the cover off?

My --- key is starting to randomly type itself again, thought Id fixed that yesterday 🙁

I think this highly unlikely!

White wine and salt should get it off

Seriously though, make and model?
