... some shock cord hooks.

I'm after some hooks that can have a length of cord threaded through them and can then hook over another piece of cord. They're often found on rucksacks, looking like this...

Pennine Outdoor might have something appropriate. I bought a few clips and straps off them yesterday to make a handlebar harness, and they sell in small quantities.
