A friend is working abroad and wants to call his girl using Skype. However she has no PC or land line. If he calls her mobile phone will she get a charge for the call by her provider?
No.
But he'll have to pay for the add on which let's you call numbers.
As above, if he is overseas and is calling back to a UK number then she will pay no charge as long as she is in the UK when she receives the call.
He will need to pay credit into his Skype account to use the 'Skype Out' facility.
Why doesn't she get the Skype on her mobile then wait near a free wi-fi for the call?
Assumptions are the mobby will take the application and there's free wi-fi close.
My aged parents have eaten in McD's twice this year both times to use the wi-fi to skype.
No wi-fi close I'm afraid. Many thanks for the responce.
