Is there going to be a second wave, after I missed the first?
POSTED 7 HOURS AGO # REPORT-POST

As HTS says, we have a stock model that is nearing shipping. It's exactly the same trouser, but without the huge logistical headache of sequential numbering. It's called The 177.

I currently have overly soft legs. This is most pleasing.

It's a miracle I can stop stroking myself long enough to make it to work. Hebtroos stepping out in London town today.

#74 have arrived and mightly impressed with them - the fit is absolutely spot on, as others have mentioned they are incredibly soft and pleasing to the touch - i dunno if this will prove to be a good thing or not - time will tell ๐Ÿ™‚

Got mine on now. They are very fabulous. Think I'm going to have to get a pair of 177s in the other colour.

Fit is very much like my 501s but a little more tapered below the knee.

No. 81 has arrived at my house. Haven't tried them on yet. Probably best to wait till all the local wimminz are asleep. ๐Ÿ™‚

Do it now. When you put them on the "positive waves" will wake them up anyway.

Washed mine three times, last time at 40degs.

Takes a half day to get them back to their regular fit after washing (they bed in) but all good now.

I'm in a 32 and should really be in a 33 or 34 so probably have more issues than most people.

I have come home half expecting a parcel for the last couple of days. Reckon they must have sent them down by boat on the Aire/Calder canal and forgotten that it's closed at Shipley. Isn't impatience great! Also number curious!!

You're number 10 Conrad. And it's just a matter of a mis-order of the waist/leg size you've requested which have slowed things up. So our apologies. I hope to get those out by end of this week.

I think mine are waiting for me next door. She's a late riser, do I make myself late for work so I can stride about handsomely in the sunshine?

The blurb says expect about half an inch shrinkage in length. Is that about right? Should I wash them a couple of times before getting them turned up to length?

Mine are at the Post Office, will be calling in later to get them.

From other's posts, if she sees you in them you won't be going in at all.

Anybody need a pair of shortarsed sized W32L30? I'd rather mine go to someone that'll wear them than languish unworn in my wardrobe. They're numbered 81. Unworn, apart from one try-on (post-shower!!).

Worn today and enjoyed both compliments and some R&M frottage. Liking the French bearer detail.
Any chance of a model with hook & bar waistband and slash or side pockets (rather than Jean-style)?

Mine arrived today. no root vegetables, no superfluous rack mounts and no fundental measurement that's accidentally a bit small. Is brant really involved? ๐Ÿ˜‰

They are gloriously well made, lovely material, true to size. I'd like maybe more taper from the knee but that's a point of taste. Thanks for the tea bag.

Cheers Eddie11

We are almost all the way through shipping Founders Kickstarter trousers. Shipping on some delayed by us having to guess colours and sizes across 40 sku's with limited data, and some small production hiccups.

We have shipped the first few production 177's today after being able to match up some overstock from the founders run with early orders for 177s.

We have about 50 more pieces completing tomorrow, and another 150 completing at the end of next week so hopefully should be all caught up by then.

Cheers

After a few days of agonising I've popped mine in the post to swap for a smaller pair. I'm gutted to give up my Founder's patch (#99) but if they don't fit they will never be truly magnificent. They are brilliant trousers; fit, fabric, construction are top notch and the moleskin is beautiful.

I'm one if the chunky leg brigade who normally struggle with anything the isn't described as 'easy' fit. That's not a problem here.

I think I over-measured as the jeans and chinos I went off have a lower rise so I was measuring a different bit.

Once I get the size right I'm having some blue ones too ๐Ÿ™‚

Great job Brant & Ed, it must be wonderful to see the results of what (I imagine) started as a daft idea in a pub.

#98 turned up, a bit tight.
Brant has taken them back for a slightly fatter ones, but I'm keeping my number.
That felt fantastic.
Will there be any in black in the future as they would make perfect work trousers?

This one weeks worth of production seems to be taking rather longer than I thought.

Stoners letter is dated the eleventh of March....

Brant mentioned they were 75% through posting over a week ago, has something gone wrong with mine?

All the shouting and interest will be over by the time I get mine as even if they're due now I'm away for the week.

This is someone who sat a hospital appointment for 4 hours last week as they'd slipped my notes into someone else's and even after asking whether there was a problem they didn't actually bother going and checking.

This one weeks worth of production seems to be taking rather longer than I thought.

We polled as many people as we could using the methods available to us and placed an order across 5 waist sizes, four leg lengths and two colours to have trousers as Kickstarter funds landed with us (six weeks after project launched).

It was no suprise to find us under ordered in some sizes and colours.

To all founders, thanks for your support!

Stoners letter is dated the eleventh of March....

Everybody's letter is dated 11th March.

Eight more shipped this morning leaving just trousers from either very late repliers, non repliers, or one man with 40in trousers which I didn't like the patch pocket position on.

What's your proper name Pepper. I will look into this.

All have been sent Royal Mail sign for, I have a large box of receipts and I have a sheet of paper with lots of ticks on.

Update on mine.

Had them on pretty much constantly for a week or so to break them in. No discernible shrinkage in the wash, but put them in on their own for the first few times or they will stain everything "Hebden Blue".

Top pants. Saving for a pair of 177s in a different colour.

Got my 177s yesterday. Lovely. Material feels super tough but very soft and comfy. Snug in the waste, actually pretty
much perfect, but not too many pies for me if I want them to stay that way! All in all they seem to be top banana. Good luck with the future products chaps. Long live trouser town.
