Possible present idea for MrsBunk who suffers from seemingly having iceblocks for feet.

Seen Therm-ic and Lenz that seem reputable, and then loads of generic ones on Amazon that could be good, could set her on fire.

Would be for skiing, mountain biking and probably just walking around on a cold day.

Has anyone tried them? Do they work?

I don’t have pair but they are very common here in the Arctic. Them-ic are solid brand, Lenz might be bit cheaper.

The issues are generally with socks not heating anymore after having gone through enough washing cycles and usual issues with any modern batteries.
And of course leaving batteries in your checked luggage becomes expensive.

I've got some Berschatt ones for biking. They are good when they work but I had a bit of an issue with them at first. Replaced under warranty fine though.

I use heated socks for winter rides below 8 degrees and they have been a game changer for me, but they are too thick for skiing. I use boot heaters to dry the ski boot inners and turn them off just before putting the boots on which helps prevent cold feet for a few hours

Which ones do you use Fizzer?

They are unbranded with 5000mAh batteries that fit in a pocket on the side of the sock. Cost £30 on eBay nearly two years ago. Can't find them listed currently unfortunately
