Being a pig with an endless supply of chocolate I need something to satisfy the nibbles.
I was thinking wasabi peas.
Any other exciting ideas?
Please don't say sunflower seeds.

Carrot sticks, in no way exciting but very moorish.

Dead prostitutes, a bit fattening.

I snack on wholemeal pita bread and hummus all day.

You can get quite a few different types of hummus to mix it up and thanks to fatties liking it too, you can get it in low fat variety.

Nuts, trail mix, almonds.

Don't have wasabi peas, really tasty but full of sugar.

Biltong is a good shout. High protein, low fat, no carbs.

Never had biltong. Have seen packs near the crisps in the news agents.
Is that still good or does it need to come from a butchers?

Make your own. I knocked up a billtong box and had some pretty good results.

There is loads of info online about the different recipes.

Quite like salt and vinegar rice cakes. Not sure how healthy they are, but got to be better than crisps.

I get mine from my local Indian supermarket, the spicy roasted peas they also do are very nice.
I guess you could make your own as well but they are pretty cheap, about a £1 for big bag of them.

I once 'snacked' on a full bag of dried apricots over the course of a morning. There were 'repercussions' to this...

I can happily snack on a full pack of biscuits if I'm at home, marking. It's a symptom of boredom, rather than hunger 🙂

That's not a pie, pies have pastry tops. Everyone knows that, even Stoner. Hang your head in shame for posting that abomination on here!

No such thing as a healthy snack really. As mike said ^^^^ it's just boredom. If you're actually hungry, have a (healthy) meal.

It's often the case that it is actually thirst. Try first having a large glass of water, wait 20 mins and see if you're still 'hungry'.

I try to drink plenty of water and snack on fruit while at work inbetween meals.

Just how bad is a Snickers?
Due to the unique way my brother and myself are constructed we don't just get hungry we plummet off a cliff into total uselessness. My scrambled egg on toast had me full til 12.30 and ravenous by 1.
So we have to have emergency food if going on travels. I'm the only person taking sandwiches into 1st class on the plane. Ideal food when having a crisis would be a sausage. That's not always possible so I normally take brown peanut butter sandwiches, malt loaf or a snickers.
I know that those items will fill me up.
What makes just one Snickers worth double scrambled egg on toast, 4 bananas or about a pound of peanuts in terms of full uppedness?
The worst food if I'm hungry is a jam doughnut that would make me pass out.
Have been checked for diabetes. I think I'm just a carboholic.

Because you're a sugar junky. It's not about filling up, it's about getting your next fix.

No idea why you'd crave "sausage" though. Something you're not telling us?

it's not even really about what you're actually snacking on, more the mindset that makes you want to pick at food constantly which is unhealthy

Oat cakes - particularly the cheese ones. Nuts are good.

Nakd bars, 9 bars.

Cheese.

In light of recent news you want something that isn't high in sugar to keep your blood sugar more constant and stop you feeling hungry in a short time.
