Opportunity for misuse and regret seems almost limitless.
"Let's have a tattoo party!"
I'm guessing it's not permanent. If it is I'm so glad I'm 40. Teenage idiot me would be covered head to toe in random crap if he'd had access to that.
"Show them you are a true original - download one of our generic images to your skin forever"
It's not a real tattoo, it washes off.
Wow. So simple. Now you make yourself appear like every other individual bathed in bluing arms.
Hmmm... we had a tattoo party at my flat when I was in my 20s.
It coincided with the weekend that our local was closing and so they hosted a 'drink the pub dry' event.
I have a permanent record of the weekend etched on my arse
Roll on winter when I won't have to look at everyone's body art.
Nobody is forcing you.

In which case it seems quite a fun idea, and a "tattoo party" would also be quite fun. No need for any regret with something which isn't permanent.

Other people will still have to look at your face though 😉
The Prinker Introducing video is hilarious "Be fancy on the beach!"
Yeah, an adult, with temporary tattoos, on the beach... doesn't get much cooler than that.

yeah, if they just said "cover yourself with memes before leaving the house" these things would fly off the shelves.

Now you're talking!
I can see that going down a storm at kids parties with the right ink:

The only actual practical use I can see for it is to tattoo yourself with something crap and/or spelt wrong and pretend it's a real tat to your family/friends.
It uses cosmetic grade inks that last around three days. I don't see much difference to the temporary tattoos we used to put on our arms when I was a kid that came out of packs of bubblegum.
Some students have hacked an industrial 3-D printer to put permanent tattoos onto human skin, however...
regret seems almost limitless.
limitless = 3 days

Oh there is .. they were water based transfers.
This is a printer that prints using an app on your mobile telephone. I don't think we even had mobile telephones back in the days of Bazooka Joe. Let alone personal printers small enough to print onto yer arm !
