And can you fasten 4 of them together to make a 60x15ft Super-zebo?

got one. very good. plenty of space. be careful in high wind. I guess you could put 4 together as the sides are flat.

Zip them?

We've got one, it's ace. Someone at mayhem had two fastened together and looked like it worked really well so I don't see why four (or 16, for that matter) wouldn't work.

Sides aren't exactly flat(vertical) so you'd have a bit of a gap between each one.
Try staggering them slightly and that might work.

As said watch out in the wind, as you can't buy replacement poles.
putting several together would lead to a void area due to the curve in the legs.

I've got the 12x12 version and am often the subject of gazebo envy.

I've got one, and yes gazebo envy would seem to feature. You could line up one next to another, but they would not meet exactly at the top so would have a small gap. You certainly can't zip them together.

As to performance in wind, we have 2 sides for ours and have used it in pretty bad weather, wind and rain, with both sides on without a problem. The trick is to put 4 pegs in each foot at different angles, that way the feet can't pull straight out of the ground. Obviously this is assuming you have fairly good ground, ie not sand.

Without the sides on, I'd be happy in pretty much any weather assuming its pegged well.

Can't recommend them enough.

Is it actually waterproof?

It appears to be a sun shade rather than a shelter from the rain, as it has a hydrostatic head of 450mm?

(Edit: What I mean is a tent, for example, would have a hydrostatic head of 2500 to 3000mm.)

Don't know about 4, but I'll be attempting to lash two together later this month.

As above I've seen 2 together but not 4. Looked into getting one when they first came out, but a bit excessive for a family of 4. Saw them survive the winds in North Norfolk in that last big blow we had back in June, impressed.

No, they are not waterproof. However, I've used ours in heavy persistent rain (for days on end) and the worst you get is a drip of two from the seam areas. Its new though, not sure how it'll hold up to rain in the long run.

Thanks UH - might still be worth a punt, although Hi-Gear also seem to make a similar version whcih might be more waterproof (unfortunately they're no cheaper)

After the bad weather put an end to the apres-race chin wag and sausage eating 😯 at the last HTN we need to provide a bit of shelter.

Impressed with ours. Got it for Mayhem, and was a bit dubious about the wind. If you have a bit of tent nous it helps - make sure well guyed and pegged etc. we went for the opposing angle pegs on the guys rather than feet. Either way, mayhem would have been miserable without

Could you not waterproof the fabric and solve the dripping that happens in persistant rain???
