not sure if there is such a thing but im after a kind of hard drive to store my cds on but that i can play music from directly from the drive so i dont need to use the laptop to play them. i currently have logitec speakers so being able to plug into them would be ideal
i currently have a hard drive plugged into laptop then speakers plugged into that. and i need a bigger drive so its an ideal time to change
anything like this around

well yes but one with say 1tb storage . maybe even be able to wireless transfer track from computer to it would be nice too 😉 but i guess in effect its a big mp3 player lol
1tb is pretty damn huge for music storage!
ive managed to fill 500gb and still have around 1000 cds to do ;-(

tho not as expensive as the 6000 dollar one ive seen that fits the bill ;-0
but then again id want to be able to scroll thru what was on there to play files. i guess im after a little wireless server type thing that can play media thru the tv/speaker system
