My lass has got two hamsters. They have huge protrusions after their back legs/hips. Not prolapsed I don't think as it's still furry, but their butts basically stick out loads and look huge compared to the rest of them. Is this normal? I don't know if they are boys or girls I'm afraid.

What type of hamster? If they are Chinese Dwarfs, the testicles are unbelieveably disproportionate. TBH, all the hamsters that live together are dwarf hamsters, Chinese are hourglass shaped, grey and with a tail about 15-20mm long. As previously mentioned the balls a bigger than the head. Look at it this way, if they are both the same, the odds are that they are normal. I totally understand your surprise, I felt the same when I started my job and first saw them!

Wifey had a very cute syrian, they have huge balls however. Usefull tool to sex them so you don't end up with millions!!!
