Oh, and if anyone is wondering, it was the Joe Bonamassa gig.
yeah was there... in the photographers pit!
Seriously?
yes! I'll post a pic in a minute.. still gong through them!
Wow! Will you be at his other UK gigs?
Blimey, FCOL what is he wearing??!!
Much stuff from the new album? Bit disappointed with it but then I just love his live albums.
No. I do bits and pieces for Blues in Britain Magazine
its a suit of pure mercury 🙂
Just googled that mag, will have a read later.
So ... was Joe on form last night?
yeah..struck all the right poses for me..Ha!
Good shot there! Can't wait til Sunday, I'm acting like a big kid. 😳
Just in case anyone hasn't seen this, a wee bumpity bump!
Can't believe how excited I'm getting, won't be able to sleep tonight that's for sure. 🙄
You'll you enjoy it if you like guitars.....he used ten different guitars last night!
Wow! He is just fantastic. 8)
Well, what can I say? Can guitar playing get any better?
Paid homage (again) to Joe last night at Bournemouth BIC and he was so so brilliant. 8) He puts everything into his performance and, yes, he must have played around 10 different guitars!
Special mention must be made of the support act, Sandi Thom, who did a really good job on the harmonica. Never seen a girlie play one before!
He's touring the U.K. later in the year. 😀
Sandi is his girlfriend....
Went on Friday, really enjoyed it. Especially the 15 minute acoustic solo of woke up dreaming, awesome stuff. Didn't enjoy support so much though, last 2 songs good, rest mediocre. And Ian Anderson's appearance, cracking!
I just misread the thread title as "Hammerschmidt on an Apollo - anyone tried it"
I was about to reply to say I didnt think the cheap frames would have ISCG tabs!!!!!
manitou - yes, had gathered that. Did you enjoy his performance?
motivforz - Ian Anderson as in Jethro Tull?
iain1775 - Bike Forum over there >> 😉
yes jethro tull's ian anderson
So did he play the flute?
yup.. they did "A new day yesterday"which was originally a Tull song before Joe did it.They also played "locomotive Breath". Flute on both 🙂
He was indeed great, hot as hell in there though! wI have no Idea how he wore that suit all the way through, never saw him take a drink over the whole 2 hours either
