I am thinking of buying a halogen oven ,anybody using or have used one, your thoughts please.ta

Absolutely bloody brilliant things!!! I seriously can't recommend them highly enough.

Its taken over from the slow cooker as the most well-used item in the kitchen. We got one about a year ago, as we wanted to do stuff for the kids without using any fat or oil. And we've hammered it for that.

But once you start playing with it, you can use it for all sorts of stuff. So much less hassle, and a lot healthier too. Get one!

I got one from ALDI for thirty quid, its great ,cheap to use and as binners said you can cook stuff with less fat and in less time ,you'll save the cost on energy bills oif youre cooking smaller amounts of food
