He was looking a tad more down when his Superbike packed up on the 5th lap yesterday

He seems to have good consistent speed though so he may bag a win yet

I felt for him yesterday as he was walking towards that tree.

He truly is a one off top bloke. Shame there can't be more characters like him.

what I love about him is he's had a BBC1 TV series, so when he says "I've got a new van" you expect to see some blinged up pick up he's bought / been given. But no, Its his van from his new job, fixing trucks. So down to earth it's untrue, brilliant.

Although he's got the Aston for when he fancies a bit of bling 😉

To be honest I haven't a clue who he is as I don't follow motor sport but enjoyed that clip he seems to be one happy chap 🙂

all we have to wait for now is the Guy Martin backlash where everyone says he's a crybaby, self-interested wolverine freakshow who hasn't even won a TT yet 😐

Ah, the back lash has started! Wondered how long it would be.
Congratulations Rocketman, you'll be forever remembered as the one who started the ball rolling! 😉

I suppose a start would be not to read a thread titled "Guy Martin...." & then feel the need to post a comment on it.

Just a thought, like.....

Not to forget he had his bike pinched near Newcastle, think he was riding up and around Chopwell by the sounds of it

top tenuous claim to fame - the guy i work next too's cousin gave him a lift back after that breakdown. Plus after todays hedge fest he got back, fixed it and ended up 3rd in the rerun.

oh, and he's apparently doing the local Longest Day Longest Ride 24hr event on the 18th/19th (if he doesn't kill himself trying to win....)

ps seen TT3d? - its ace but if you can't take GM don't bother as he's in it a lot as counterpart to Hutchies measured professionalism

But we don't all get to do TV interviews after M/B races and a TV series whilst wearing Hope branded kit though, do we? (or if we did maybe we would...)
Media 'star' wears branded kit shocker...

Fair play to Hope and Guy IMO

I'm a big fan, but when he says he's 'just' a truck mechanic, I think you'll find it's his and his father's business .....
