It's one of my mates 40th's coming up at the end of the month, and it's going to be a 70's themed weekend of random stuff from biking to cliff jumping in Wales.
The 70's theme is the tricky one, everyone has to have an authentic/real moustache. I reckon I can grow one by the end of the month, the only problem is I look a scruffy herbert while doing so.
Shall I go for the goatee and trim to suit at the weekend, or just not bother shaving at all and traim to suit at the weekend.
Other major issue is the missus hates facial hair as it irritates her skin. 😯

Nah my mummy has to get my shreddies out for me and put the milk on as I'm not allowed to handle glass bottles since my last accident 😉
they grow slower than you'd think, google images movember to see the average facial hair growth for a month. i'm a hairy bugger and thought i'd look like magnum p.i by the end of the week. 3 weeks and you'll have a hairy catipilar only 12 year old school kids can be envious of.
I grew a tache for my stag do, went the beard route them trimed to "suit" the day before.
Although the misses quite likes the beard she wasnt impressed with the tache and it had to go :(.
For a really impressive tache, use mascara on your growth on the eve of the party..

Did they they do cliff jumping in the 70's?? Other than suicides of course. And you should def grow a goatee then shave the middle out for the 70's porn star tache.
Should have something visible after a couple of weeks, I can grow soemthing decent within 2 weeks, usually trim it to a goatee before getting tid completely as Mrs MFL refuses anything & everything if I've got facial hair.
my OH grew an amazing handlebar tash for movember and by two weeks it was quite well defined so I reckon you could get something decent in a few weeks. Handle bar will make you look like either a porn star or one of the village people though so I'd go with the beard to goatee/tash vote if you dont want to look like a willy when its not actually a movember thing.
Don't quite know what's going to happen, I haven't shavd since Sunday morning and it's not exactly impressive, I reckon by the alst weekend of June I might have something slightly better than 'that hairy kid at school' had in the 4th year 😆
