Inspired by the "Mega Shark v Giant Octopus" straight-to-DVD movie sensation discussed on the other thread, what would be the most thrilling clashes of the made-up animal world?

How about

Storm Pelican
[img] [/img]

-vs-

The Pangolin of Justice

Actually, I am supposed to be clearing up my office. Pretty nearly anything is going to be more amusing.

Manatee -vs- Hyena, for example. 🙂

[img] [/img]

[img] [/img]

clearly, the manatee is larger, and has flippers, but if the hyena can lure it out of the water...

Sloth v. Koala?

That's harsh. Have you got a refreshments franchise or something? That would make a 12 round bout look like a snooze in the park.

I'd probably put a fiver on the sloth though. Bigger claws

Crab versus poodle.

Edit: That would be a Robber Crab, not one of our puny English ones.

[img] [/img]

Blobfish is very real. They look a lot cuter in their deep sea habitat - I think the water pressure has an effect similar to those M&S magic knickers.

stuckinarut,
The same battle happens in my back garden. Here's the latest result -

[img] [/img]

It's one of the cat's more interesting arrangements, though I'm still not too sure what the underlying artistic merit is.

i have been a regular witness to Barn Owl versus freshly defrosted day old chick. nature in action is a brutally vicious thing 🙂

I have to say that in the battle of teenage me with air rifle versus rabbit it's normally the rabbit that came off best

IanMunro - yep, all too familiar. I'm getting good at rabbit anatomy.

Any market for not-so-lucky rabbit's feet, ears, small and large intestine, eyeball complete with trailing optic nerve...? if only they'd just gut it and hang it for me.

Apparently sperm whale vs giant squid is an epic battle; unfortunately nobody's yet sold them on the benefits of selling their bouts on Sky Pay per View...

My cat used to expertly butcher and eat rabbits. Mind she always ate the head first. Used to leave the intestines in a neat little pile though. She's dead now but I've still not found her butchers knives anywhere.

The most epic battle she undertook was Cat vs. Stoat. She won...

This is my favourite thread for ages!

My cat faired particularly well against a wood pigeon but it was an unfair battle really. The wood pigeon had knocked itself out flying into my window, and the cat went outside to find all it's birthdays had come at once. She only ate the breast meat though - not a fan of offal.
