Wondering why I'm paying for cable tv when the only channel (that I watch)I can't get for free on freeview/freesat is Sky1.

I don't currently have a tv aerial feed into the house so I'm thinking freesat could be a better option than freeview.

What exactly is involved? I take it a cable needs to be routed to every reciever/tv.

I've just discovered that there are two "freesats"

Yup Dish - cabling and receivers for every screen that you want the service on

does that mean multiple holes through the outside wall?

(sorry, haven't got a clue about this stuff, might have to check out my neighbours houses when I get home)

If you get High Definition Freesat (Proper) with the Foxsat Recorder, then you'll have two holes in the wall (one for each feed). If you don't go for the recorder you'll have 1 hole in the wall. The installation engineers may use shotgun cable (two cores, single cable) so you'd only have a single hole instead of two.

does that make sense?
