[Closed] Grapefruit Juice

I had a pink grapefruit for brekky 🙂

it's like orange juice but not very nice

Tinsy introduced me to grapefruit juice and lemonade, with ice, after some hot summer trails.

Very refreshing and good if you have to drive after the ride.
Two of those Britvic sized bottles into a pint glass, top up with lemonade, and a few cubes of ice.

Don't be drinking it in the morning if you're on the pill! Lots of women don't know but it effects the pill and can stop the pill working! I love grapefruit juice too ...

I find it's like drinking battery acid.

Drinking my fave winter tipple of Bloody Mary (WITHOUT ice) at the moment.

.... I had a grapefruit juice at breakfast though.

I remember once drinking half a pint of it the morning after a fairly heavy beer session and then had seriously baaad guts for the rest of the day. Never touched a drop of grapefruit juice since.

Grapefruit and soda water is my fav non alcohol pub based tipple, pint glass, ice one small britvic bottle of grapefruit juice topped up with soda water, delicious

Not had the pleasure, but, Pink grapefruit marmalade, now thats nice, thats what I like on my toast in the morning.

Grapefruit juice contains chemical compounds that inhibit one of the enzymes that metabolises drugs in the gut. Not my area of study or expertise but I lived with a house full of (female) PhD and postdoc pharmacologists at uni, some of whom were researching drug interactions, and none of whom consequently would eat grapefruit in the morning.

Grapefruit juice is also good for male water retention 😆

I suggest they read the studies then into the effects, it doesn't effect them.
