Just browsing GSV for our little road and discovered something rather bizarre. All the way down the road you get what's part of the same sequence until the very last position right at the end of the road is quite clearly a completely different occasion - foliage on trees is different so months apart. I then checked the other leg of our road (I live in a cul-de-sac which has a T shape, so 2 dead ends) and exactly the same thing - the very last shot in the sequence is different.

Now I can understand it took a long time to do the whole thing, so you expect some discontinuity at junctions, but I live on a tiny little road on a small housing estate with a single access road - it's hard to understand why they even came onto the estate twice, let alone visited our road again when they'd already done it!

That's what it's like in the mountains Ian, you should be used to that by now.

I've seen them twice on my street over the course of a year and the the photos are from both times (sunny day and a dull day)

btw just noticed my car registration plate is visible but everyone else on the street seems to be blurred out (which i thought was the policy)

Omar - click on 'Report a problem' in the bottom corner of the Streetview view and you can get it blurred out.

That's google being clever - you can only see your own plate.

Sisters Fiancee drives for google. I know he had spent most of last year filling in gaps. I suspect they must have had a quick spin round and missed a fair bit before getting other areas filled in.

He also can't take shots when its raining as the camera isn't fully waterproof.
