moo.com come highly recommended, but I have a JPG design for front/back and they do not do double sided printing.

Vistaprint look good and seem to fi the bill, anyone any recommendations?

As a business printer, I use www.colouroptions.co.uk. Not wedding specialists, but just damn good trade printers (both conventional and digital so will be at your price point), and deal online.

If you speak to them, say that Mike from Mixd recommended them.

http://www.rsvpfineprinting.co.uk/ I am sure you can call them and discuss what you need. (Cheap and relevant plug for a friends fathers company)

What's wrong with a computer printer? Or are you trying to bring up the average wedding spend? 😉

Few reasons, *** quality is one. Also vistaprint would work out cheaper believe it or not.

I've had postcards printed by vistaprint - quality of what we got was good. If you're in any kind of hurry, they cost a lot more, and it is a right hassle turning off all the useless things they try to add to your order to bump the price up - a bit like booking ryanair flights.

God forbid sending invites out that are slightly lower quality if you examine them super close up. I mean I know how sick I feel when I am quite frankly insulted this way. I check every wedding invite I receive with a magnifying glass, and if it's less than top quality it goes straight in the bin and I never speak to them again. It's a disgrace.

I think the quality of the invite has more to do with the care and attention the senders want to give to every aspect of their special day rather than a fear of disappointment from a guest over a sub-standard invite.

I just don't get this approach to weddings I have to admit...

Each to their own I guess.

I am a designer so I was compelled to do 'nice' invites - in fact it was almost expected. I spent WAY too long designing the cards. Hell, it took me about two days just drawing up unique illustrations for the table plan!
