We're off to Perth, Western Australia for two weeks holiday in the sun on Friday. 😀

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer last week and will be having a mastectomy the day after we get back. 🙁

I really hope all goes well for your wife. It will be very difficult for you both to enjoy your holiday to its fullest but do your best.

My heart goes out to you both and I hope everything works out well.

We had a great holiday on Perth WA.

My wife had the mastectomy to remove the cancer.

The results from tests on breast tissue and lymph nodes showed it hadn't spread.

Oncologist said that there was no need for chemo.
5 years of tamoxifen instead.

Good luck Mrs and Mr Scholarsgate. Lots of people around me involved with various similar ailments at the moment. Nice to hear a small ray of sunshine.

My mil just going through the same- had the op and reconstruction- had spread to one of the three lymph nodes they took out. Seeing oncologist tomorrow to see what the script is. Fingers crossed.
Glad it all went well with your missus.
