Hello all! Interesting forum this one - quite a few decent topics. Im in sunny Edinburgh and I ride an Orange Patriot 7+ and a Pitch both of which are well tweaked! My local spot for riding and building is Corstorphine Hill and I would recommend it to all. Great trails which are dead techy! Just ride responsibly please with no littering. Goes without saying really. I also ride all over Scotland and will ride pretty much anything. I also have a large malamute dog(google titus alaskan malamute) so I like getting out with him as well - on the bike and off! Im pretty knowledgable about bike stuff in Edinburgh so if I can be of any help please ask. Look forward to talking to you all.

Welcome along.

TJ will be along in a second to check that you meet the stringent Edinburgh cyclist requirements. Just smile nicely and you'll be fine.

EDIT - beaten to it!

The best thing about a turtle is that first it's your friend and then it's your hat.

I used to have 3 turtles but they got too big. I now have a kitty cat(all white and called leroy)the dog I mentioned and A TORTOISE! Hes called Floyd. Eldest is a zookeeper and shes got big pets. Sort of. Carnivore pets! As for tyre choice in winter stick e nevegals and rest of the time the usual hi rollers and 2.1 fire racer xc pros. Many thanks for the greetings as well folks! Please bear with me on my computa skills coz its just my phone Im using. I will get some pics of the bikes and pets posted when mrs bigthunder can help. Have a look on you tube for trailscotland ride corstorphine hill though coz thats a wee video I organised. Cant miss the big patriot in it!

He likes turtles everyone! He likes turtles! 🙂

Now just tell us where you got the inspiration for your username?

I need it for my records as I have to know if you're lying when the inevitable thread topic comes around again.

Also, have you ever dreamt about another forum member?

Welcome.

Another knowledgeable person from Edinburgh is always welcome as there are a few on here too shy to speak up 8)

Orange Patriot 7+ and a Pitch both of which are well tweaked
To get things out in the open - did any of this involve spoons and do you always wear a helmet?

User name comes from being 6ft5 and 17stone. My Patriot can sound like the end of the world as well and Ive a tendency to shout angrily things like crank it ya girl! Only at my riding pals mind not civilians. Gonna get "you terrible sexist" comments now.;-)

Hi bigthunder. Any relation to red?

Hope you hang your doggies poo bags in trees. Not a responsible dog owner otherwise. And don't let him near kid's faces.
All will become clear in time (maybe)

🙂

Camo16 - I have feelings you know. My turtles would have taken your finger off. Mean as. Dont like gypsys and wont get the chance to cycle abroad as I have kids that need kept. Would swap for another Orange tho. Alpine 160/5 am. As for dog poo bags in trees - my dogs 9stone and his dungs need carrier bags and would break tree branches. Huge. And smelly. He gets a very good diet and has a strong constitution just like his dad.

I swam with turtles recently. Amazing beasties.

Anyway, back to the OP, what's your opinion of the erotic nature of cephalopods?

Hello, I must have missed this last week during my enforced absence due to alleged racism, (careful what you say some of them are mean PC and love [s]pikey[/s] gypsys.)

I'm also relatively new (less than a month) there are some really fun threads, I've learned lots of stuff I didn't know and there are some really talented and clever people here, amongst the male chickens. 😉

Not really my place to say, but welcome anyway..

I missed this one too - Hello Big Thunder.

One thing to do - search out the picolax thread.
