So when is it acceptable to wear a Gold chain, and when most definitely not?
Just having a discussion with Mrs K about some of the athletes on telly looking cool, and I remembered and then found and adorned expensive one I had stuffed in a drawer for years. She's says it now does not suit my "clean shaven suite wearing office based Crew Clothing image" whereas apparently 20 years ago it did fit with my Adidas originals white only no laces wearing, looser jeans big T shirt image.
Is it fashion, age, parenthood, class...?

The only gold I wear is a very fine flat-curb chain I bought in Greece many years ago, and a red gold ring that was my great-granddad's wedding ring and handed down to me from my dad.
